Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Zarenova is operated by Course Creatives LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our macOS app and web dashboard at zarenova.ai. Questions? Email support@zarenova.ai.
2. What We Collect
- Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you create an account.
- Call transcripts — text transcriptions of the audio captured during your calls. These are generated on-device by Deepgram and stored in your account.
- AI coaching reports — analysis of your transcripts generated by OpenAI and stored in your account.
- Payment information — processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
- Usage data— how many calls you've analyzed, your subscription plan, and basic account metadata.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the Service — store and display your call history, reports, and account info
- To improve coaching quality — we may use aggregated, anonymized transcript patterns to improve our coaching prompts (never tied to your identity)
- To send transactional emails — account confirmation, subscription receipts, and important service announcements
- To enforce our Terms and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (EU and US regions)
- Deepgram — real-time speech-to-text transcription of your calls
- OpenAI — AI analysis of your call transcripts to generate coaching reports
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing
- Vercel — web hosting and serverless infrastructure
Your call transcripts are sent to OpenAI for analysis. OpenAI's API data usage policy applies; OpenAI does not use API inputs to train their models by default.
5. Audio and Screen Recording
Zarenova requests microphone and screen recording permissions on macOS to capture call audio. Audio is transcribed in real time by Deepgram and the resulting text transcript is stored in your account. Raw audio is not stored or transmitted beyond what is required for transcription.
You are responsible for informing call participants that the call may be transcribed, as required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until you request deletion. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@zarenova.ai and we will process your request within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@zarenova.ai.
8. Security
Your data is stored with Supabase, which uses encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies ensure users can only access their own data. We do not store API keys or payment card data on our servers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by email of any material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
